Dr. Kelly Rau (Strathdee) ND, IFMCP, is a Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Functional Medicine practitioner, at the Whole Health Naturopathic Clinic. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a licensed and registered member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. Prior to her Naturopathic medical training she received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Dr. Kelly received her functional medicine training and certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Dr. Kelly combines the latest medical research with a patient centered model that integrates each patient’s individual history, genetics and lifestyle factors. Considering all of these factors, Dr. Kelly creates an effective personalized functional medicine treatment plan for each patient.
Dr. Kelly’s primary approach is to provide the best individualized comprehensive naturopathic medical care for each patient. She has always made it a priority to educate, empower and encourage patients to actively change their health. Through this caring therapeutic partnership, patients are able to become active participants in their health, and move themselves toward optimal health.
Dr. Kelly uses a variety of assessment tools to assist in determining the underlying imbalances patients are experiencing. Some of these include functional laboratory testing such as salivary hormone testing, food sensitivity testing, comprehensive stool testing, heavy metal screening, detoxification assessment and nutrient screening. She also utilizes standard blood tests to create a comprehensive integrative assessment for each individual patient.
Dr. Kelly has helped thousands of patients to feel better, and looks forward to continuing to guide patients to better health and well being.
Dr. Joy Dertinger is a Naturopathic Doctor with a focus in supporting mental health, sleep, burnout and pain. She practises evidence-based Naturopathic medicine that can complement medical treatment and therapy, and has published original research on Naturopathic treatments for anxiety and depression.
After an exploration of symptoms through discussion, optional physical exams and laboratory testing, Dr. Joy ND creates custom health strategies in collaboration with her patients. Available treatments include supplement and herbal recommendations, dietary and lifestyle strategies, acupuncture and cupping.
Dr. Joy ND gained a foundation for critical thinking in the Arts and Science program at McMaster University. She then completed a four year doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) Toronto, an additional certification in prescribing and a residency at CCNM. Following her residency, Dr. Joy ND worked as a part-time faculty member at CCNM: training students and managing research projects. She has maintained a private clinical practice since 2019. Originally from Delhi Ontario, she is thrilled to serve patients in London Ontario.
